When possible, I use affiliate links, which means if you buy a product from a site a link to, I will get paid for referring you. Think of it as commission on the sale.
For years I didn’t know anything about affiliate links, and I was sending businesses lots of traffic and generating them lots of sales and not getting any credit for it. When I learned that I could earn a little bit of money for doing what I had already been doing for years I replaced my regular links with affiliate links. I figure if I’m sending someone business anyways, I might as well get credit for the sale.
Almost 100% of my affiliate links are products I personally use, pay for, and recommend. There are a few that are very specific to churches that I haven’t used, but I have read up on and they seem to offer a good solution to churches. These are the only products I haven’t personally used:
- ChurchThemer. I have never used church themer, not because I don’t think they have a good product, but because when they launched their business I already had made a church website using a different theme and didn’t want to switch. And since then, I haven’t done another site for a church. The next site I do for a church will probably use ChurchThemer. But, just from looking at their themes, they seem to offer the best church-specific WordPress theme solution. They look good, have functions that churches need, and are very affordable. If you have any experience with these themes, please contact me and let me know your experience. If I receive negative feedback, I will remove them from my site.
